Is it an IT professional’s duty to educate his users on keeping a system optimized? Should an IT professional rely on the users to restore backup system images on their own? At what point do the IT professional and the user have to cooperate? Can an IT professional or technician punish their users for not being responsible users? Why do we bother optimizing systems if users are just going to end up putting viruses on them?
