Should women have access to abortions
While having an abortion is not a decision that should be made lightly, women should have the right to
terminate a pregnancy in certain situations where carrying a child through to term would have obvious and
severe negative effects on her health and well-being. A foetus has some rights but they cannot be considered to
be of more importance than the reproductive rights of a fully grown woman.
