Parents’ Aggressive Influences
In many situations where children have been reported to exhibit certain behaviors that are considered to be aggressive in nature, their parents have often been the major influences for such results. Whenever there is marital aggression within the marriage of the parents of these children, there is a great likelihood that the children may also develop aggressive behaviors that may in the future lead to anxiety issues and conditions that may affect their health and well-being. In a study conducted on parents’ aggressive influences on children, it was revealed that there is a great correlation between marital aggression and aggressive-acting out children (Duman, & Margolin, 2007).
