The author is an American woman who was born in Conway Arkansas. She grew up in Fort Worth Texas got married and has a daughter. In this story, the main theme displayed is the theme of “the mythical cycles” and “the healing cycles”. The main character, Maggie Hoskie who is a monster hunter plays a tough role in helping a small town in finding their missing girl.
