The Voting Process

 People’s participation in the elections is dependent on an array of factors, all of which determine not only the chances that they go to the polling station, but also that they cast the vote in support of a particular candidate. Notably, people in the American society have always had a high affinity for either one of the two dominant parties in the country (Giddens, 2013). Therefore, the candidates often make an effort to invest in the campaigns process with the intention to appeal to the public to vote in support of the said candidates. Ultimately, the extent of campaign financing has the potential to influence the election outcomes.
