Significance of Ares
The ancient Greek mythology held different gods to such a high esteem that the consequent transfer of information across generations has been responsible for sustaining the impact of such mythology on individual lives. In particular, different gods had different roles within the mythology context and were all found to be of much significance to society, and to the understanding of social interactions and the Greek culture. Ares was one of such figures, viewed as a god of war, and the son of Zeus (Classical Mythology in Context, n.d).
