The Appalachian Trail

Embarking on a hike on the Appalachian, Will Henderson did not foresee the events that ended up cutting short his objective in one of the most adverse experiences of his life. Irrespective of his knowledge of the necessity of having company while on a hiking trail, Henderson believed that the busy nature of the trail would provide him with the company he needed. According to him, “If you’re on the Appalachian Trail, it doesn’t matter because you’re not really alone. There are so many people on that trail.” His decision to go off the trail, he slipped, while crossing a stream, and ended up breaking his leg.
