It is easy to see how various advancements in medicine have touched the lives of almost every human being on our planet. From saving and extending lives to entirely wiping out various deadly diseases, these advances have worked miracles and changed the world. With complete certainty, every person’s life has been at least once saved by a certain advancement in medicine. I think the most significant advancement in the history of medicine is vaccines. The world would be very different from how we know it were it for the vaccines.
