Earlier this year, February to be precise, Vancouver City Council voted for the approval of the Northeast False Creek (NEFC) Plan, including the estimation and budgeting of the costs of delivering the NEFC infrastructural project. The Plan sought to make a reality the development of Northeast False Creek future neighbourhood. This Plan is however subject to an economically feasible implementation and financial strategy (City of Vancouver, 2018).
