Building Teams
Part A
When tackling a course/work project, establishing an effective team is important to get the work done. For the individuals to work successfully as a group, team building strategies should be put in place (Cardinal, 2015). The strategies seek to get the best out of the team efforts to complete the assigned tasks. The team building strategies seek to establish the team based on the three dimensions; designing the task, selecting the people and managing their relationships. For the team to be successful, it is important for the members to acknowledge that they are not participating for individual recognition. As such, selecting the right members for the group is of utmost importance. Besides, the members should work to keep their ambitions out of the group activities.
