Distribution Channel and Its importance to Marketing
A distribution chain can be described as all the intermediaries involved in the delivery of the products and services to the final consumers. There are parties which form part of this process including the wholesalers, distributors, retailers and the internet as well. An appropriate distribution channel puts into consideration the needs of the consumers including the price; time is taken to deliver goods and the quality as well. These channels are beneficial to the marketing process in that they contribute towards the significant relationship between the different parties involved in the distribution. First of all, they connect the manufacturer to the wholesalers and retailers who need to get involved in getting the final product.
