Applying real world laws in gaming
The virtual world has been experiencing developments over the years with millions of people being in a position to log in and experience the different activities. Video games are the most common features of the virtual world which allow for commercial dealings as well as social interactions. While applying the standard knowledge, any activity that involves social interactions must be faced with disagreements and conflicts between the parties in the environment (Castronova, 2009). These occurrences have resulted in the concern of whether the practical activities should be governed by the real world laws as there are also criminal acts that happen.
The legal community has been less involved with factors that affect the gaming industry even after the numerous activities that affect a significant portion of the population.
