Introduction
A genogram is a complex family tree that outlines the relationship between different people in a family. A genogram is very important as it gives people the history of the family in several generations. A person in a family can understand who in the family they share personality traits. A genogram helps counsellors and doctors to have good knowledge on how they can handle a person. For instance, if the person suffers from mental disjunction, the doctor or counsellor can use the family genogram to link between the patient and the other relatives.
I gathered information on the family, and I was able to come up with the family genogram. The genogram consists of grandparents, nuclear family, extended family, the family secrets and the character traits. Below is a genogram diagram of my family.
