One of the most notable things in the world today is the contribution of Egypt towards civilization. Many countries played a part in contributing towards civilization and their contributions have not gone unnoticed. However, we will focus on the contributions of Egypt towards civilization in this paper (Thurnwald, et al. 1936).

First, the art of writing. The Egyptians struggled to find a way to express themselves. This necessitated that they have the means to communicate through writing. As a result, they ended up inventing hieroglyphics which was mainly used by the priests.
