Abstract
Serverless computing is a tech development that has been upcoming in the cloud computing world. Its complex nature makes it alien to many people in the IT industry but the reality is that it brings about more benefits and also several technological risks. Serverless computing can be described in simple terms as the most elite level of cloud computing. This is an approach that is being encouraged in various companies that operate with in-house computing, but skeptics see it as operational liability because of online security. This is an emerging service entity that will help in various computing elements in not only in regards to operation, service and security. This report will include coverage of backend and frontend data processing, cost benefits of serverless computing which include lower costs, simplified scalabilities and quicker turnaround. This means that it has been able to bring about a lot of change in various IT operations and functionality. Other services that serverless computing can provide relate indirectly to it and this will include services such as the presence of new jobs that relate to serverless computing.
