Darwinism in America
Before the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin’s in his 1859 literature Origin of Species, most Americans, including naturalists, believed in divine intervention to explain the origin of mankind, the earth and everything in it (Helene, 2016). Darwin came with a new idea, arguing that the explanation about the origin of all species cannot be based on extraordinary powers, because he had evidence to prove that natural components influenced the whole process. This new submission was widely accepted by most Americans, and they were even eager for more explanation about the theory.
