Step One
In this part, we find that the common turn-taking-practice that is portrayed in this case is the continuers type of turn-taking. This is because in all the conversations take the same direction. In a way, one of the communicators knows what the other person will say as a result of their statement, and hence they form an opinion and provide a word that the others are looking for thus completing the comment and also indicating that they understand the other person. The rules that are portrayed here is interruptions as all the first speaker are unable to complete their statements because the second speakers interrupt and gain the floor regardless of them agreeing with each other (Heritage, 2010).
