Capitalism and Public Good
Capitalism is one of the most essential ideologies in coordinating the aspects of power, order, and justice to uphold and promote the public good. In capitalism, the private sector, main consumers, are tasked with making key decisions regarding employment, investment, production, savings, among others which directly or indirectly impact on an individual’s life. Although capitalism is the mainline conservatives’ ideology, it is at the same time the main feature of classical liberalism (Young, 2003).
