Introduction
Road accidents remain a significant cause of death in Oman. Being one of the Arab countries, Oman has a large number of drivers. However, the number of deaths on the roads remains high despite the safety campaigns by the police department. Royal Oman Police Department is the body in charge of maintaining law and order including enhancing road safety. The department has held many seminars and road campaigns on safe driving to reduce accidents.
