Chicago area project
This program was founded in by Clifford Shaw in 1931. The founder of this organization was a socialist at a University of Chicago. Clifford believed that every neighborhood stood a chance to reduce juvenile delinquency by improving community life (Kobrin 1959). Therefore, the mission of this project was to minimize the misconducts or crimes that were committed by the youths or the young children below the age of 18 years.
