This article discusses groundwater and surface water pollution. Groundwater is the water found or stored in the spaces between cracks of soil, rocks, and sand. It is the water beneath the surface of the earth. The surface is the water stored in the earth. Human beings are affecting these water sources as a result of multiple activities which they undertake, both short and long-term.
