Hardening has different meanings, but in computing, the hardening process is used to secure a system from any forms of attack. You can do harden the system by reducing the system’s surface of vulnerability. The system’s vulnerability is usually huge when the system is performing several functions and therefore, to cut it, one is supposed to reduce to several tasks.
