Impact of Nursing
The Affordable Care Act is a federal statute that was created in 2010 to bring about many reforms on the healthcare system of the United States. It was signed into law by Barack Obama, and this explains why it is often referred to in the media as ObamaCare (Roger, 2016). Before it was enacted, the cost of healthcare was increasing at an alarming rate.
