repsond to this : Why do you think Judy Chicago allowed so many people to contribute to her idea and art work, The Dinner Party? Do you think the piece would’ve had a bigger impact if she was the only one that contributed to the piece? I am curious because people generally like to take all of the credit for themselves, rather than distribute the credit. Maybe this is just a problem in today’s society. What are your thoughts?

I think Judy Chicago allowed so many people to contribute to her idea and art work because she wanted them to gain ideas about artwork creation. She also wanted the participants to be part of the cultivation of the history of women. The female history was important to her because according to her, female history that has been overlooked for a long time in the society.
