prepare a 2-3 page paper in which you address the following questions
Osteoporosis is a disease of the bones that leads to increase risk of fracture in osteoporosis, the bone mineral density is reduced, bone microarchitecture deteriorates, and the amount and variety of proteins in bone is altered. The three main mechanisms by which osteoporosis develops are an inadequate peak bone mass (the skeleton develops insufficient mass and strength during growth.) excessive bone resorption, and inadequate formation of new bone during remodeling. In the following exercise, you will research the normal processes involved in bone physiology and remodeling and then discuss how osteoporosis affects the anatomy and function of the skeleton.
1. Describe bone physiology and the bone remodeling cycle. Be sure to emphasize the two types of bone tissue and the roles of osteoblasts and osteoclasts.
2.Explain the relationship between calcium and bones.
3.Explain how the body controls calcium levels in the bones and blood. Be sure to describe the roles of parathyroid hormone (PTH) and calcitonin.
RISK FACTORS
5. Discuss what scientists know about the genetics behind osteoporosis.
6. Describe some of the risk factors for osteoporosis.
Sign and Symptoms
7. What are the symptoms or telltale signs of osteoporosis?

Questions
Question 1
Bone physiology refers to the manner in which bones provide support and locomotion. Bones also provide protection for some of the internal organs that are delicate or could be easily harmed. Bone remodeling cycle refers to the lifelong process where mature bone tissue is removed and new tissue is created that is strong (Clunie, & Keen, 2014).
