As a new Mideast superpower, how does Iran expand its superiority across the mideast and how it uses religion for its political agendas?

Students are required to write a final term paper (10-12 pages of double-spaced text, 12 pt font, Times New Roman, 1 inch margins) on a topic selected during the course of the class (self- selected or suggested by the professor). Students will have to hand in a paper proposal including a research question, an annotated bibliography, and an outline of contents.
