In October 2017 there was a corporate security breach to the Hyatt Hotels. The company stated that the incident affected payment card information, such as expiration dates, cardholder name, card number, internal verification codes from cards manually entered or swiped at the front desks of some Hyatt locations. The owners said a total of 41 properties were affected in 11 countries.
