Citizens United v. FEC

            The group members are against the ruling in the Citizens United v. EFC case because it allows corporations and unions to influence the outcome of elections. The Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (BCRA) was implemented to regulate the financing of political campaigns in the U.S. Thus, it prevents organizations to support individuals’ political ambitions from their treasuries. However, the ruling in the United Citizens v. EFC allows them to contribute to electioneering communications.
