1) What is the state action doctrine?

State Action Doctrine

The constitution has always been the primary basis of any legal action undertaken by individuals or states. Consequently, it holds significant power of control over different entities and circumstances, based on which individuals and states could seek prosecution if anyone individual or state went against the tenets of the constitution. However, a source of such power needed to be regulated accordingly to prevent cases of abuse where people or entities used the constitutions to bar others from otherwise exercising their freedoms.
