According to the American History, the new deal was put in place during the reign of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. According to the study by Mitchell (2017), the new deal was a series of projects and programs to help the nation when it was faced with the great depression. Hence, the president aimed at restoring prosperity to the entire nation by introducing the new deal. Furthermore, the government introduced some projects that could help citizens during the time of the Great Depression.
