Civil Rights Movement
Civil rights movements’ objectives primarily included an improvement in the American environment to the extent of extending the rights already available to the dominant groups to the minorities, including women and African Americans. Among some of the most significant objectives of the movements was the end of segregation policies in the country that often led to substandard goods and services being offered to the segregated African Americans in the society. Consequently, the end of segregation was one of the most notable achievements of the civil rights movements, in addition to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which helped improve equality within the corporate society.
