The Healthcare Policy
Healthcare policies include the set of standards and principles that determine the nature of interaction within the context of healthcare service delivery. The Affordable Care Act and the standards of nursing practice are two forms of healthcare policies that although they are initiated by different parties, have played a clear role in determining the quality of service available to people in need of medical attention. Consequently, health care policies, like any other policies in other sectors of an economy, provide a rationale for engagement among the different stakeholders in the issue in question.
