Write approximately (3) sentences for each quote that you select. Explain your understanding of the quote as it relates to the film and this week’s reading, Ch. 9, from Crucible of Struggle. I would like you to expand on the quote by “unpacking” the contents of the quote in your passage.

Pierre declares this as an indication that one can rise again after they fall. That once can recover from the mistakes they did in the past. But this can happen only if they are ready to let go of two things which normally keep one in the place of failure, remorse and illness. Remorsefulness is a result of the failure. Sickness is a result of ruminating over the past mistakes. Putting these down results into a free person who can face the world with a new level of confidence.
