Trying Not To Try
According to Slingerland, Wu – Wei is an active, effortless state of mind of an individual who is best effective and dynamic. The concept of Wu – Wei is broadly analyzed and discussed in many Chinese schools. It is explained as a non- action; however, mean doing nothing but naturally doing things. If one acts without a forcefully imposed will or a deliberate intention, then they are close to the natural flow of Wu – Wei. Chinese philosophy whether Daoism or Confucianism pays attention to the purpose of living a happy and meaningful life with continued effort to reach natural spontaneity. The author with his comprehensive understanding of the Chinese Philosophy demonstrates a coherent illustration of how to enhance the traditional wisdom of Wu – Wei.
