No one can ever explain the reason why he or she views one religion as being better than the other. In most cases, people grow up to be followers of a particular religion as a result of the influence of their immediate environment. It follows that the environment in which one belongs plays a key role in determining his or her future. Therefore, an effort understand the cultural environment could significantly help to understand individuals within the said context. Personally, my environment has played a key role in my welfare, determining my relations and various activities related to cultural values and norms. In essence, norms and values of a particular culture are passed down a generation through practice, and they can only be practiced in cases where the consequent generations understand them appropriately, and are capable of actualizing the said principles in their daily activities.
