Question One
There is a great difference between the nursing practice in the past and today. This is because over the time, the nursing practice has evolved from just a simple caretaking practice at home to a very respectable profession. Back in the day, women who were willing to take a caregiver job got hired by families, and they performed all the nursing duties at home. Some of these duties included nursing a baby whose mother died, and those who were concerned with midwifery duties were referred to as wet nurses.
