Introduction
The Arab-Israeli conflict has taken place since the early 20th century. The conflict has resulted in political tension, disputes and also military conflicts between Israel and other Arab countries in the Middle East. The cause of the conflict is the establishment of Israel as a nation that would provide control over the Jews in a territory dominated by the Palestinian Arabs. Though the battle began in the early 1940s, it reached its peak in the year 1947 and led to a war in the following year. The conflicting parties have claims to Palestine where each regards it as their ancestral land.
