Write a definition of what architecture is to you now that you have completed this class.
Has your definition changed since the beginning of the semester? Do you look at buildings and spaces differently now?
This project may be presented creatively (collage, figure/ground organization, photoshop, poetry, etc.),
but remember ultimately, we are looking for a definition. Remember the 8 1/2″ x 11″ paper format.
The purpose of this assignment is to encourage thought and reflection.
Hint – The first sentence should not begin “After completing this class….” or “At the beginning of the semester…….” Review the definition you wrote at the beginning of the semester

Architecture
After completing this class, my definition of architecture has changed in ways that I never perceived before. Before I entered the architecture class, I thought architecture was all about designing buildings. However, this has changed as I now consider architecture to be the whole process of designing and constructing buildings in a sustainable manner. The need for sustainability is one that has been stressed across the course of this class. Such a definition moves away from past definitions as it observes architecture to be a profession that not only brings up buildings but also develops structures that can improve the livelihoods of members of a given society.
