1. Choose a skin disorder and describe how the structure of the skin is affected by the disorder. Also include the disease, signs, symptoms, and treatment.
2. Name at least 3 diseases that might be suspected based on the look of one’s nails. Describe the condition of the nails and what disease or disorder it may point to.

Shingles (Herpes Zoster)

            Shingles, alternatively known as, Herpes Zoster,is a skin disorder mainly characterized by proliferation of painful rashes. This disorder is caused by the revivification of the varicella-zoster virus. Shingles result in red blistered rashes which, in most cases, develop around the torso.
