Technology Influences
In the last decade, technological advancements have been observed to have many influences on different aspects of human life. Many careers and industries have also been influenced by these technological changes that tend to be rapid and revolutionary in nature. One of the careers that has been affected is that one of a probation officer. The issue identified in the earlier assignment is increased caseloads by probation officers. In the United States, a probation officer is supposed to overlook more than a dozen different cases making it difficult for them to keep track of the cases and provide appropriate follow-up to each of the cases that they are given by the courts within the justice system (Champion, 2016). The issue affects the career in many ways and makes it to be unattractive for people who would prefer to work in the justice system within the country.
