Geert Hofstede a psychologist sorts to explain the differences between national cultures depending on six cultural dimensions that define societies. The model created by Hofstede provides dimensions that rate a society’s tolerance towards certain situations including power, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance among others. This paper is a critical analysis of these dimensions thereby providing scores to my home country while comparing it to that of Vietnam.
