1. Insight from female rappers.
From the onset, Tricia Rose exposes female rappers thematic focus as one that is based on sexual politics. In this sense, female rappers are communicating the modern woman’s plight for equality in gender power, thus creating awareness of sexual, economic, and physical freedom through resistant and firm female voices.
