What are the six regions of the Sun?
There are six layers that form the sun. These layers include the corona, chromosphere, photosphere, convention zone, radiative zone and the core.
Corona. This layer forms the outer atmosphere of the sun.
Chromosphere. This is a reedy layer just beneath the corona. It is approximately 30,000 kilometers thick.
Photosphere. This is the part of the sun that can be seen from the surface of the earth. In other words, it is the sun’s visible part.
