Bill of Rights
Part One
The Bill of Rights was developed after the realization that it was necessary to safeguard the liberty of people in the country. At the time, there was a lot of animosity between the Federalists and the Anti-Federalists. Federalists provided support for the creation of a central federal government that would oversee all the states across the country. On the other hand, the opposing side wanted independence for each of the states. The Bill of Rights was thereby supposed to ensure that the liberty of the people would be guaranteed regardless of the type of government that was going to be established for the country (Burgan, 2012).
