Explain the biological foundations of your selected behavior
Use Google scholar http://scholar.google.com or anything that will turn up some credible, scholarly

After carrying out all the research, decide what information you are going to use. Pick at least
three scholarly sources and summarize their main points and/or findings. Try to relate the
information about the biological foundations of the behavior to some social aspects that you
think are interesting and/or important in the context.
o Explain the biological foundations of your selected behavior (Stay factual, look at the
evidence). This part should make up approximately 40% of your essay.
o Include a discussion of the behavior in the social context (Here, you can include your
own opinion. You could contemplate the following: How does this behavior benefit
humans or animals today? What about a few hundred years ago? What about 5000
years ago? How about 100 years from now? Are there/were there/will there be any
risks associated with this behavior? What social and/or environmental factors may
play a role?). This part should make up approximately 60% of your essay.
o contain approximately 1,000 to 1,500 words without title page and references
o be in 12pt font, double spaced, before and after paragraph spacing is set to 0
o follow current APA style (https://www.apastyle.org/)
o include a title page, running head, and a reference page (you do not need to include an
abstract)
o be structured and cohesive
o be free of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes
o summarize the findings of at least 3 scholarly sources
