What is your vision for the future of Middletown, OH?
During the past years, the city authorities of Middletown, OH have been trying revitalize the city by reducing crimes and encouraging business and residential developments. Take some time to review the story map of Middletown city (Links to an external site.) and the city’s master plan (Links to an external site.). What is your vision for the future of Middletown, OH? If given an option of moving to the center of Middletown, OH, would you be willing to do that? Why? And why not? (Write 150 words and respond to at least one other student).
Student HL:
My vision for the future of Middletown Ohio involves a lot of improvement. Over the past couple years, Middletown has already built a brand new High School for the students in the community. With Middletown being between two major cities (Dayton and Cincinnati) it is also expected to grow. In the “master plan” they discuss wanting to clean up the city, and improve the image of Middletown. I think they have already started doing this by building a brand new city school. In the future, I think Middletown will continue to advance the city to help improve the overall outlook of it. Living in Middletown now, there are a lot of Pro’s and Con’s. I do think Middletown is a busy city and has a lot of places to eat, grocery stores, as well as many schools, and even a community college. A Con with living in Middletown is there is quite a bit of run down areas, and a lot of not good areas. I would not be willing to live in the center of Middletown due to what it is known for, and the crime rates that occur. Overtime in the future, I hope Middletown does improve the community image and reduce the crime rates for this reason.
