There are a few similarities within the required scripture versus is given that each of the scripture verse is providing instruction and guidance for applying one’s morals with their actions. The main connecting point within these scriptures verses is to be truthful in your dealings and avoid lying and falsifying information because with time it may be revealed. As with research, sourcing and collecting the data is a process that included interpreting that data and sharing the findings but it also includes becoming transparent and providing the findings in a wholesome, accurate fashion. John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free”.

Proverbs 14:15 – The simple believe anything, but the prudent give thought to their steps.
Phillippians 4:8 – Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Proverbs 12:19 – Truthful lips endure forever, but a lying tongue lasts only a moment.
1 John 3:18 – Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth
There is a way that some proceed in life that is very foolish. The wise man considers his steps – and thinks about the actions he is about to take or the words he will speak. He considers them to ensure he does not enter an evil path or make an evil statement. The lesson of Philippians 4:8 is to study and dwell on the things Paul mentioned to guard our hearts by focusing on things pleasing to God. Christians must do their part in shifting what they are thinking about, and God will do His part by giving them the power and strength to experience a transformation. The lessons of Proverbs 12:19 emphasizes that positive, truthful speech has a lasting quality. While the harm done by lies can linger, dishonesty tends to expose itself. Lies self-destruct and destroy those who make them. Truth endures because there is nothing deceptive or false about it. Finally, the lessons from 1 John 3:18 focuses mainly on the concept of love. Communicating love through our words is essential, but we must also do so through our actions. All four of these scriptures can be easily applied to my dissertation by simply believing in my steps, pleasing God, being truthful, and, most importantly, completing my research out of love and respect.
