My thinking about heroic

When I think of a heroic leader, the notion of senior executive fills my mind of people who think that they have all the answers who take all the praises and make decisions without consulting the colleagues. They have an aspect of being egocentric and self-centered. They constantly seek to get public attention and recognition. They do not care who is affected so long as their personal interest is met.
