This assignment is based upon the Robin Hood Case Study. Be sure read and review the text chapters assigned for this week, any resource materials and your own research on stakeholders, mission, vision and strategic goals.
Robin Hood Analysis Assignment Details
This is an analysis of the Band of Merry Men as an organization, including its existing values, culture, and influential stakeholders. At the conclusion of your analysis you are to recommend to the organization a Mission, Vision, an two (2) Strategic Goals for organization going forward. Be sure you support your analysis and recommendations with documented research.
Document Sections:
Subject and Purpose of the Paper – Brief ( I paragraph only) introduction of the Band of Merry Men and a description of the purpose of the paper
Stakeholder Summary – Identify the important Stakeholders that need to be considered, and describe their impact and/or influence on the Band of Merry Men and the development of the future direction.
Description of the Organization’s Culture All members of the Band will bring their own “personal” Values with them to Sherwood Forest. Organizational Culture is then defined as those personal values that are “shared” by the organization as a whole. Describe these shared values (culture), and identify the strengths and weaknesses in the current Culture that the Band embraces.
Proposed Mission: Create a clear Mission Statement for organization with a brief explanation and rationale.
Proposed Vision Develop a clear Vision Statement for the organization with a brief explanation and rationale.
Strategic Goals Develop two 2 Strategic Goals that support the mission and vision of the organization with a brief explanation and rationale for each.
Conclusions Address the degree of alignment of the existing Culture of the Band of Merry Men with the Mission, Vision, Strategic Goal, and barriers it will face going forward caused by the current Culture. Summarize the value of adopting your suggestions.
