Miranda Warnings
Miranda Wiring is a notification that is given to criminal suspects who are in the custody of the police. Police officers usually advice criminal suspects that they have the right to remain silent when they are being interrogated by the police officers (Del Carmen, 2016). It prevents criminal suspects from sharing information to the officers that may incriminate them for a given crime that they are suspected to have committed. Their purpose is to preserve the admissibility of statements that suspects may make to the police officers once they have been arrested.
